Salsa II - improvers
Salsa Linea (LA Style)

In order to be able to register for this level it is necessary to have a good understanding of the material presented at the introductory level since this course is a continuation of the basic course.

Solid fundamentals are the basis of success!

Participants may register in couples or they may come individually, either solo ladies, or solo gentlemen.

Course Instruction:

Part 1:
- second men's left turn (in combination with unfinished insideturn by both hands, single pump, hammerlock and left hand changeover over the head)
- single right turn (ladies) by both hands (in combination with inside turn by both hands and outside turn)
- circles by arms (drawing)
- openbreak and turning in couple

Part 2:
- peak-a-boo
- right hand behind men's back from ladies right turn (in combination with single right turn by both hands, peak-a-boo and two possible ways of the end:
1) cross body lead, hand changeover over the head
2) hand upcast (flop - throw ladies left hand up), spinning (pivots)
- pizza turn
- cross body lead with men's turn (rainbow)

Part 3:
- right hand behind men's back with bringing lady forward (in combination with single pump, ladies and men's turn)
- double pump (from hand changeover over the head)
- men's arms sideways, ladies pass along right side of the partner (from single right turn by both hands)
- angel wings (outside turn to the hammerlock, openbreak ...)

- taps without moving weight
- jump backwards
- syncopated suziQ
- suziQ toe heel

During each class, regardless of whether we are teaching at the basic, improvers or intermediate level, a portion of the lesson is devoted to footwork (LA Shines) and the other half is dedicated to dancing in pairs while working on variations (Partnerwork).
